The purpose of this project is to help Toronto-Danforth residents better understand the issues that may shape the next four years in our ward, and to provide practical questions they can use when speaking with candidates.

The guide does not endorse or oppose any candidate, party or position. The questions are intended to encourage informed, issue-focused conversations and give residents a clearer way to assess what candidates are proposing, what they can realistically influence and what they can be held accountable for during their term.

The perspectives gathered for this guide come from people with lived experience, professional knowledge and a connection to the issues and communities discussed. Contributors were invited to share what they believe the next councillor should address.
